I then meet with the practice owner, usually monthly, to review progress, discuss priorities, confirm direction and make sure everyone remains aligned.Minutes are taken at each meeting so actions, responsibilities and next steps are clear. This creates transparency, accountability and a structured way to keep the practice moving forward.

It allows me to observe the practice in real time, understand the team dynamic, review the patient journey and gain a clearer picture of how the systems are working day to day.Where appropriate, this may also include a team Lunch and Learn session, which gives the team an opportunity to understand the process, ask questions and feel part of the improvement journey.Ongoing support can then be provided virtually through structured meetings, implementation support and progress reviews.The approach is always tailored to the practice, rather than applying a one-size-fits-all model.
